Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how SHELBY TECHNOLOGIES SRL ("SoundNativ," "we," "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on soundnativ.com and any other website we own that links to this policy (the "Sites"), and in our iOS and Android apps (the "Apps"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They help a site work, remember your preferences, understand how it is used, and measure advertising.
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by our service providers or partners, and can be used by them to recognize your device when it visits other websites.
Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
| Type | What it does | Who sets it | How to control it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Needed for the Sites to work, such as keeping you signed in, security, checkout and bot protection. These do not require consent. | SoundNativ; Stripe (checkout and fraud prevention); Cloudflare (Turnstile bot protection) | Browser settings. Blocking them will stop sign-in and checkout from working. |
| Analytics | Help us understand how the Sites and Apps are used, which pages and features work, and where errors happen. | Google Analytics; Amplitude; Sentry | Browser settings; Google Analytics opt-out add-on |
| Session replay | Record how you interact with our web pages and Apps (taps, clicks, scrolling, mouse movements and screen changes) so we can watch replays and heatmaps to find usability problems. | Microsoft Clarity (Sites); Amplitude Session Replay (Apps) | Browser settings; Clarity terms and opt-out information |
| Advertising | Used by advertising companies to measure which ads lead to visits, sign-ups and purchases, and to show SoundNativ ads to you or people like you on their platforms. | Meta (Facebook Pixel); Google advertising services | Meta ad preferences; Google My Ad Center; industry opt-outs below |
| Sign-in | Let you sign in to the Sites and Apps with an existing account. The provider may set its own cookies when you use it. | Apple, Google, Facebook | Your settings with that provider; browser settings |
Other Technologies
Browser web storage
We use browser storage (such as localStorage) for similar purposes as cookies, for example to save your progress through the quiz. Your browser lets you clear this storage.
Pixels and web beacons
Pixels (also called web beacons or clear GIFs) are small pieces of code embedded in web pages or emails. We use the Meta Pixel on our Sites to record that a page was viewed or that you signed up or bought a plan, so we can measure our ads.
Server-side events
We also send some events, such as sign-ups and purchases, from our servers to Meta to measure our ads.
Mobile app SDKs
Our Apps include software development kits ("SDKs") from third parties, which can collect information directly from the Apps. We use SDKs for product analytics and session replay (Amplitude), crash reporting (Sentry), subscription management (RevenueCat), sign-in (Apple, Google and Facebook), push notifications (Expo) and ad measurement (Meta). On iOS, we ask for your permission before using your advertising identifier for tracking.
Your Choices
- Blocking cookies in your browser. Most browsers let you see, delete and block cookies, including blocking all third-party cookies. Many accept cookies by default until you change your settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Sites, such as sign-in and checkout, will not work. To learn more, visit allaboutcookies.org.
- Blocking images and pixels. Most browsers and email apps let you prevent images from loading, which also blocks pixels.
- Third-party opt-outs. Use the opt-out tools linked in the table above.
- Industry opt-outs. You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance, the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance. Not every company takes part in these programs.
- Mobile settings. On iOS, turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track" or deny tracking for SoundNativ. On Android, delete or reset your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your device settings.
Opt-out settings apply only to the browser or device where you set them, so you will need to repeat them on each one. If you opt out of interest-based advertising you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you.
You can withdraw any consent you have given for non-essential cookies at any time by deleting them in your browser settings and contacting us at [email protected].
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when the technologies we use change. We will update the "Last Updated" date above, so please check back from time to time.
